Still here.

It's been a week or so since my last posting. We've been busy. We've had choir and mission friends at church, I had a last night out(for a while) with my girlfriends, Derek and I went to the last home UAB football game(which they lost), Aidan went and played with his cousins, the Himics(he had a fantastic time!), Aidan had his last soccer game for the season(he scored 2 goals), Aidan and Daddy went to the team party at Krispy Kreme where Aidan got a trophy(which he is very proud of), I helped a friend with her Christmas Open House all day Saturday(which resulted in me staying in bed resting most of Sunday), Aidan and Daddy cut the grass and mulched leaves and went to the park and that was all between Wednesday and Sunday! I did go to the doctor Monday because Newbaby had not been very active Sunday and Monday and I just wanted a little peace of mind. I ended up getting an ultrasound then being sent to another office to have two rounds of non-stress testing(which is kind of stressful when you have monitors on your belly recording all sorts of information and you are not real sure how to interpret the information you are looking at). Newbaby is fine, the Mountain Dew the nurse had me drink really perked him up, not to mention the buzzer she pressed into my belly to wake him up! He was not happy about the buzzer. The nurse was pleased with the read-out from the monitors which made me feel better. I have been taking medication for a wonderful bladder infection that was discovered last week and I have also decreased my caffeine intake because of the infection so all of that added together could result in his decrease in activity. And he could be resting, getting ready for the big trip down the birth canal. My blood pressure is a bit high and so I have to go back tomorrow for another non-stress test. I think my blood pressure was high because of the test but I guess we'll see how it is tomorrow.

Nan is coming to spend the night tomorrow because Aidan has a choir program at church tomorrow night and a fall program at school Thursday morning. I'll be sure and post pictures!
