Spring forward, fall back
I used to really look forward to that extra hour we picked up but now that is just one more hour of being awake! It hasn't been the best weekend for me. Friday night was Fall Festival at Aidan's school and at Dawson. I had to work a booth for Aidan's class so I got there a little early and Derek, Aidan, and Namaw got there not long after. Aidan didn't want to stay because Pops was at Dawson working a much better game and so he and Namaw went to Dawson's festival. Derek and I had planned to join them but the week finally caught up with me and it was all I could do to make it to the car, much less walk around another fall festival. The couch was calling my name and I answered. I spent most of Saturday in bed, resting. Aidan's soccer game was canceled, due to wet fields, and he spent the day with Namaw and Pops. Derek and Mo had errands to run so I had a very quiet and relaxing day. It was much needed. We finished off the night with take out and a movie. The movie was an animated Batman (Aidan's choice) which I actually enjoyed. And now, at 5am, I am wide awake, have been for about 2 hours. One of the perks of being pregnant. Of course, in 3 weeks, I will still be awake at this hour but with a hungry baby. At least the world series is over and my tv shows will start back so I will have something recorded to watch at 5 am. There is not a lot of quality programming at this hour!
