Another day

Today was a very good day. Derek took Aidan to school this morning because I had a check-up with Dr. Morgan, my ob. Everything is great with Newbaby. Dr. Morgan is still planning on November 20th if Newbaby doesn't decide to make an appearance earlier. I'm feeling fine, sleeping is not so good but Aidan and I took quite the power nap this afternoon! I spent the morning painting a bowl for a friend. Shannon is the room mom for her daughter's first grade class and this bowl is for the silent auction is the school PTO is holding in a few weeks. We went Tuesday and got the kids fingerprints on the bowl and I finished the project today. I haven't been to paint pottery in several months and it felt good to do something I enjoy in a quiet environment. I guess everyone needs a release. I've gotten too large in the belly region to go to my yoga class so I guess I need to paint more!
After a run to McDonald's for lunch (I saw a friend of mine there that is pregnant with twins and we shared a laugh about the fact that we both LOVE McDonald's only while pregnant, who knows why!) I picked Aidan up from school and we went and played with his friend Avery. They had a great time and Baby Davis was as sweet as ever. They played at a park near Avery's house and it was so nice to be outside today. The play ground was everything from the Polar Express (no big surprise for Aidan), a pirate ship, and a bear cave. They also had a quick game of football with Daddy and Bryan (Avery's dad).
After a 2 hour nap we headed to soccer practice. This was my first experience with soccer practice because the last time I was at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Walk-A-Thon and I must say I was impressed. Aidan loved every second of practice. There were only 4 kids so everyone got a lot of ball time but Aidan is actually pretty good at keeping control of the ball. His game is this Saturday and Nan is coming for the day so we should have a good time. We finished off the day with a trip to Cold Stone Creamery for some ice cream from our friend Stephen. Aidan is currently looking at a toy magazine picking out what he wants for Christmas and also what we should get for Avery,Spencer and Owen. That's my boy, let's get the Christmas shopping done early!
