Time flies!

Wow! I can't believe it has been almost 2 weeks since I last posted! My camera is not working so it had to be sent off to be repaired and that has a lot to do with not posting. Pictures always make a post better. Since the last posting we've had quite a bit going on. All three of us had a turn with a virus of some sort. It's always fun to pass a bug around the family. Aidan had it first, gave it to Derek who then gave it to me. I am still congested since I can't take any real medicine. I would kill for a few squirts of Afrin.
Aidan and I made a trip to Baker Farm and met Nan, Hanlon, Spencer and Abby. Baker Farm is an old family farm that grows pumpkins, corn, Christmas trees, has a barn full of animals, and offers hay rides. It's a chance for city kids to experience nature. We had a great time and brought several pumpkins home. Hanlon took pictures and when she emails them to me, I will post them. Aidan had his first traumatic accident, his fingers got caught in a door. Luckily there was no blood, but he cried for about 45 minutes. It was horrible. He is fine now but it was touch and go for most of Friday afternoon. That night we went to Chuck E Cheese for our cousin Bradley's 3rd birthday. Aidan had a blast. We really enjoyed getting to see Bradley and his sister Emily. Aidan had a soccer game this past Saturday and got kicked in the eye. He and several players had fallen and Aidan just happened to have a soccer cleat connect with his face. He has a bruise under his right eye but he took it like a man. He cried for a minute or two but then he was ready to get back in the game. I would have been ready to go home! After the game, he spent the afternoon with Pops and Namaw. They walked a "spooky trail" that was set up by a local library and found a treasure at the end. The treasure was then taken to the library for a candy treat. Aidan really enjoyed the walk.
Those are just a few highlights from the past 2 weeks. Derek and his business partner flew to Houston this past weekend for the UAB game. They had a nice time even though UAB lost in the last few minutes. I've had several doctors appointments, I'm pre-registered at labor and delivery for Nov 20th, 6am. If Newbaby doesn't decide to come earlier he will be here on the 20th. I've been "nesting" quite a bit. I've cleaned out the file cabinet, the refrigerator, under our bed, got tax receipts ready for the year and next on my list are the closets. I've also got a pile of stuff for Derek to take to his office. Aidan goes to school tomorrow so I will continue the cleaning then.
I will post some pictures as soon as my camera is fixed. Hopefully this week. So sorry I didn't post for 2 weeks! I'll try to keep updated!

Don't fret Kerri, I'll send you a few. I'm actually smaller now than I was with Aidan!
