I Love School

When I was a teacher I loved the breaks, now as a stay-at-home mom, I only love the breaks for about 2 seconds. Ok, maybe a few days but having Aidan and Asher at home(which means Asher does not nap well) is exhausting. And when the day came to go back to school I was thrilled. At least summer won't be as bad because we can get outside and play more.

We've had several highlights...we had snow last weekend which was great(we had several snowball fights and Asher really liked the stuff falling from the sky), there were a couple of bday parties to go to(Aidan really liked the hayride at Spencer's party-or maybe it was the fact the trailer got stuck in the mud), Aidan is signed up for baseball and he is so excited(Derek is a coach so this should be interesting, Avery has been over to spend the night a few times(and is over tonight), we are working on a "winter project" for school(I'll post pics next week), we got our invitation to Erin's wedding and it was a message in a bottle(Aidan thought it was a map to a pirate's treasure), Asher has fallen about a million times this past month and he has the bruises to prove it(he needs the second dose of his flu shot but I refuse to take him to the pediatrician's office until he doesn't have any bruises on his face), we've visited AC several times(Spencer is even coming to spend the weekend with us soon-of course it's not soon enough for Aidan), Asher got moved to a new Sunday school class(of course Pops made the move with him so all is good), Aidan and I went to see the musical Annie(his friend Emma and her grandmother went with us so he had a good time), Asher spent some time with Pops and Namaw this week because I have been sick(which I got from Asher) and Aidan has already decided to have a monster truck themed birthday party(of course he does have 5 months to go). Enjoy the pictures...

Great news!!! For those of you who follow the link to Madison's blog(a friend's granddaughter that has been fighting leukemia) she got the all clear from her doctors! She is no longer receiving chemo and her port(the tube on her side that was used for chemo) has been removed and she is doing great! Please continue to pray for her and her family.
