Happy 1st Birthday Asher!

I can't believe it's been a year since Asher joined our family. Where does the time go? He has changed so much this year, probably more this year than any other year of his life. He went from the very small, wrinkly baby to an above average size, full of personality, into everything, crawling like crazy, can't remember my life before him, bundle of energy. How truly blessed we are.

We had Avery and his family over last night for pizza and cupcakes, Asher ate the frosting first. He knew exactly what to do with his cupcake but he was puzzled as to why we all kept staring at him with goofy smiles. We had dinner with Namaw and Pop's tonight but it was not the official birthday celebration. Daddy and Pop's volunteered all day today at our church camp rebuilding the deck so they did not have the energy to have a party but we are getting together tomorrow after church for some birthday singing and more cupcakes. We'll round out the festivities with my entire family on Thanksgiving day with more singing and even more cake. I'm sure all you Indiana relatives will be sending gifts back with Karen and Bill for us to enjoy(actually-I am kidding, please don't send a gift, he doesn't know the difference between the gift and the paper it is wrapped in).
