It's ALREADY July????

I know it's been a while....so sorry but we have had a busy summer. The last time I posted was the first week of June and now it's the first week of July and I'm not really sure where all the time in between slipped away to. Aidan went to VBS at our church, over the weekend had his birthday parties(yes, plural, we celebrate the day of and then a big party later), the next week he attended VBS at his school, we've been to the lake a few weekends, Aidan has had swim lessons here and there, the boys and I went to a family reunion one weekend, we go to the library every week for kid's shows, we've played with friends, had a couple of birthday parties to attend, Aidan has spent the night with Namaw and Pops a few times and he also spent the night with Avery once, Aidan and Derek went to a Baron's baseball game, and a trip to Dinosaur World and Oynx Cave in Kentucky rounds out the last few weeks. Asher has cut two teeth, both on the bottom, eaten cupcake cake frosting(which was a BIG hit), is sitting up for longer periods of time(it's not easy balancing all that chubbiness!), he also spoke his first word..."YUCK" when he tried corn for the first time, he's eating cheerios by the chubby little fist fulls, and he has decided that hot weather is not his favorite time to be outside, unless he is in the pool then he doesn't mind the heat at all. Asher is also in the process of moving from his cradle(in our room) to his crib(in Aidan's room), he seems to like the crib but it's just not as cozy as his cradle.

Tonight we are headed to Namaw and Pops for BBQ and then to a church on the bluff to watch fireworks. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was sitting in a lawn chair at Amy and Jason's house, holding a tiny little Aidan and watching fireworks. He wasn't even a month old and slept through the whole show. Where does the time go?
