Look at the size of that squirrel!

Pretty good weekend so far. Aidan's soccer game was exciting, he scored a goal and assisted with several more. He still enjoys playing, which is the most important thing. Asher slept through most of the game. If only he knew what he was missing!

We have a Princess birthday party to go to later today. Aidan is fired up, in fact, he has been asking since he woke up if it was time to go to Carson's party! In the car on the way to church, during church, after church, at lunch, in the car on the way home, and he just asked for the millionth time. We've got to work on the concept of time. Carson's party's are always fun. Everyone in her family dresses for the theme. Her dad's costume is always the best. One year for a circus party he dressed as a clown. None of the kids would go near him, not even his own daughter. Patrick didn't think about the fact that most young children hate clowns. This year he is the king, not as good as if he would have dressed as a princess but it should be funny.

I've had an ongoing war with the squirrels in our yard. I've bought squirrel proof bird feeders(they don't work), bird food that the squirrels aren't supposed to like(they liked it), big dome covers for feeders that prevent the squirrels from getting the food(nope, didn't work) and the dog is not useful at all(he could care less about squirrels). I've even been using the squirrels for target practice with Derek's bbgun but I haven't landed a direct hit yet. A friend knows about my losing war and sent me these pictures. I guess it could be worse!
