Don't fall out of your chair...
Ok, so it's been a while, a looooong while. I've been busy and I spend any free time checking my facebook page, which is not much. So, Aidan is at school, Asher is napping, the house is clean, clothes are being washed, the dishwasher is empty, most of my Christmas shopping is done, Pops is picking Aidan up from school, I don't have to cook dinner tonight and I am ready to blog. All sorts of things have happened since my last blog. Same old things you've had going on with your family, Halloween(I ate all the candy)
Asher, Bill, Karen, Aidan and AveryThanksgiving(we had a wonderful time visiting family in Indiana)

Asher, cousin Brakston and Aidan
school (first graders have A LOT of homework but wow! Aidan is a great reader), and decorating for Christmas(Asher has enjoyed playing with the nutcrackers, they are a sad looking bunch now. Each one is missing some body part). I'll post pictures, which I've discovered is what most people are really interested in anyway. I will share a funny conversation Aidan and I had the other day. The boys and I were in the car headed to see Santa and Aidan was talking about wanting a new baby (no, stop right there, we are not having another baby)and we were discussing when Asher was born. Aidan was remembering how "yucky" he was all covered in "slime", the hospital where Asher was born and the new toy Aidan got for being a new big brother. He paused for a moment, sighed and said "Those were good times". He has so much to reflect upon in all of his six years but those were good times. I had to hold back my laugh. Enjoy the pics....
