Boys, boys, boys
I was reading Derek's cousin's blog and the topic was blog stalking. I have to admit I do quite a bit of blog stalking. Most of the time it is a friend of a friend kind of blog but sometimes I have no idea how I got to a particular blog. One of my favorite blogs to stalk is Derek's cousin's wife's cousin's blog(did you follow that?)The family live in California(I'm so jealous that they are in flip flops now) and they have the 3 most precious girls I have ever seen. I get my fix of princesses and pink from this particular blog. I am not a girly girl type(never been, just ask my mom) but living with a bunch of boys will take it's toll. Asher doesn't even know he is a boy but he already loves rough and tumble things. Aidan avoids the pink aisle at toy stores like the plague, he always defers to my judgment when picking out a birthday present for a girl friend. My life is trains, airplanes, camping out, Star Wars, monster trucks, swords, boats, climbing anything stationary, being first to everything(the car, the door, the table, the mailbox), and building things. I'm not complaining, I do love every minute of it, but what I would give to have a tea party. So, I live vicariously through Derek's cousin's wife's cousin's 3 beautiful daughters. I know that God gave me the children that He wants me to raise and for that I am forever grateful, humble and blessed. Besides, I don't do good pigtails or braids.
Avery is spending the night and this is the train track he and Aidan built through the house.
